Why Did We Get Started?
We have been married for over 20 years with 6 beautiful children, and as you know there were many #lovelessons that we have learned along the way! Our life and love purpose was to create a couples community to establish a support system for couples to receive the tools needed to create (sustain) a healthy relationship.
It has been a labor of love to create a full 12 month curriculum where we open up our heart, experiences, and marriage to create a foundation for couples to have a space to speak about your trials, tribulations and even your wins! There were so many obstacles that we had to overcome; death, grief, depression, new motherhood, new fatherhood, new marriage, new family! WHEW! We wish there was a community - a space where we could have healed with our peers!
It can be so difficult to really speak about the intimate issues within your marriage or even your life in a group setting, but it is such a supportive atmosphere to heal and be heard!
We believe that marriage within our community is an important component for our community!
Our love journey is so different. So, Erika came from a single family home (we will break that down at a later time) and Brian’s parents is the blue print of commitment, love and longevity (together for four decades). So you can imagine there were some fundamental tools that Erika was missing, and some prospective that Brian may not be able to quite understand. We had to grow in LOVE together!
As you can imagine, the love spectrum of single family home and a healthy relationship example was a great one! We KNEW that our mission was to create a space where all walks of relationship(s) would be able to participate in this community, and get the necessary tools required to establish a long lasting marriage (regardless of which spectrum you came from)!
We are providing our personal and professional expertise to create a safe space for couples to speak freely!
We are growing together in LOVE, and we created a couple’s community for those that see the importance of love, marriage, and commitment and the desire to preserve it.
